After-care Service

We believe after-care service matters, so a member of our management team fully inspects all work, and their report will accompany our invoice. They will also call following each visit to ensure you are completely satisfied.

Survey/Specification

Each job is professionally surveyed and a detailed specification report, together with a risk assessment and method statement, if required, is supplied for presentation to your customer.

Corrective Visits

We aim for 100% customer satisfaction, so any requests to revisit and correct any work which you or your customer are not fully satisfied with are entirely free of charge.

Specialist Technicians

We only employ fully trained technicians with many years of experience in all aspects of floor restoration and maintenance. All our staff wear plain uniforms, and we can operate on-site as a division of your organisation.

Meet the Management Team

Managing Director

Peter Blair

Pete has been involved in the cleaning industry since 1984, initially running his own carpet cleaning and installation business. A change of direction in the early 2000’s involved promoting innovative cleaning systems which increased his knowledge of the floor care sector, before he formed MDS in 2005.

Technical Consultant

Howard O’Brien

Howard has been supporting MDS since 2022. He provides technical support to the floor coatings division, and uses his wealth of technical knowledge and experience to deliver the best results for all our customers.

Operations Manager Coatings Division

Anwar Shah

Anwar joined the MDS team in 2025 and heads up the Recoat Anti-slip Floor Coating division. He works with customers to provide a quote based on their needs and oversees the entire job from start to finish, including arranging slip testing when required.

Assistant Operations Manager

Paolo Vanelli

Paulo joined the team in 2009, rising through the ranks from floor technician to senior supervisor, before becoming the Assistant Operations Manager in 2015. He ensures the right staff are selected for each job, carries out the relevant toolbox talks and health & safety discussions, and attends sites to answer customer queries.

MDS work closely with Contract Cleaning Professionals, Managing Agents, Residential Landlords, Hotel & Retail outlets, throughout London and The South East. Our unique support service runs parallel with existing management teams when they are not equipped to deal with or have the resources available. Using MDS as your support service also avoids the need to employ new staff or re-train existing personnel saving your organisation or indeed your customers both time and money.

Using the very latest technology and equipment we believe that there are very few instances where the damage or wear that we encounter cannot be restored to its original condition. Using specialist suppliers through Europe we are also able to replace seriously damaged stonework with matching material.

Our Environmental Approach recognises our responsibility towards the environment. We are committed to working in compliance with the necessary legal requirements including The Environmental Protection Act, 1990 and The Environment Act, 1995.

Once restored, we will offer advice on the correct maintenance programs that will ensure that your floor covering is maintained to the highest standard throughout its lifetime.

MDS will provide our clients with a full survey which includes a recommended method statement, risk assessment and when required a detailed quotation to provide the service.
